Titanic (version 2) 100 Year Anniversary - April 15, 1912-2012

It is a new coin with the commemorative 100 years being celebrated on April 15, 2012. The Titanic is worldwide known event that began as this "UNSINKABLE" monster of a ship sailed on its transatlantic maiden cruise only to encounter an Iceberg "DEAD AHEAD" in the wee hours of the evening. By the early hours the next morning when a rescue ship arrived it was too late for most of the people on board.

It is a 2" size coin by 8 mm thick (huge). One side depicts the ship as it is about to encounter the iceberg of glitter white with a nice title ring as a porthole with wingnuts on each tab. The spray from the bow of the ship is also glitter color. Reverse side depicts one of the many liferings on board this White Star Liner as it floats today above the pathtag center (insert) depicting the eerie scene of the sunken hull. As a lifering then, it would have a rope (yes, it is a real mini rope!) around its outside circle for grasping. This version has brass crimps to hold the loop ends of the rope instead of merely being tied off as in version 1 (see photo).

This coin has its own unique icon. (Coin shown is mine, you will receive a new and unactivated coin).

I just received these and plan to sell out fast so if you were thinking of getting one maybe you should get one because once they are gone, they are gone. TITANIC 100 Year Anniversary geocoin/pathtag combo Trackable on geocaching.com and pathtag at pathtags.com.  I could do a small flat rate priority box cheap for orders up to about 20 coins and then they could be passed out at an upcoming event? Individual price is $18 each with $3.50 shipping in US.
